We chose to go with Ashdown Loft for our loft conversion because we were blown away with how passionate Tom is when he talks to you about your attic and what it can become. He was the most thorough when quoting and it made us understand our project better. He used a lot of words we did not know but we could see our future extra floor taking shape in his eyes!!!! He knew what he was talking about.. and, from the start, everything was clear. He kept us informed, showed us and explained what he was doing. No matter what challenges our roof brought, Tom found a solution. Him and Danny work extremely well together and are always very mindful of anyone around - they would always ensure the site was safe for our 2 little ones to come and have a peek. We were always impressed with how well they worked, how knowledgeable they are in all areas and the finished product is even more impressive. The attention to details is phenomenal and takes our loft extension beyond what we had hoped for. We love our new rooms and we would recommend Ashfown Loft happily to anyone looking into a loft conversion. Tom and Danny of Ashdown Lofts have just completed a large loft conversion in our stone built cottage and we could not be more delighted!  We now have 2 more double bedrooms and a shower room plus a gorgeous galleried hallway/landing!
They were consistently professional, cheerful, friendly and hard working.  The build was quite complicated but they kept us fully informed and made excellent suggestions to improve the build. The conversion came in pretty much on budget which was fantastic!  Tom promised us that the finished article would look as though it had always been there and not like an add on - and that is exactly what they delivered - which is no small feat in once small cottage! Tom and his guys at Ashdown Lofts were recommended to me by friends after a very positive experience on their large loft conversion...I'd had bad experiences in the past with builders working on my house, but Tom and his team are professional builders,  who take pride in their work, turn up punctually every day and put in a proper shift at pace....from the first time I engaged with him, I could see his professionalism...in fact when I rang building control at Reigate & Banstead council and mentioned his name, the guy actually commented "you'll be ok with him" and so it proved....Tom kept me informed on progress throughout the job, raising any issues with me, which he was always pro-active in trying to resolve....the job was finished to a high level of quality and in a reasonable time period...I believe Tom has completed around 180 loft conversions in 22 years and he's now done another one...so I highly recommend his company's services....thanks Simon..
